hello. anyone who really knows me knows that i really really love some of that electronic music. always have. way back when i was a littlest guy, i loved me some brian eno. times marched on and things only got worse, actually better, music-wise. i love to hear a distant drone in the night. a backwards squiggle, a bloop bloop bloop for hours. my point (do i really have to actually have one?) is this. i want you to look into these 5 great, by my estimation at least, electronic records. buy them. listen to them. love them. become them.

the work continues
worked from home today at what i like to call the ambient studio south.
got some things started that i will continue to develop into what i hope will be finished pieces
very very soon. i have a lot of things started. not much finished.

for some reason
this was inspired by a girl i saw today at lux.
actually she looks nothing like this, but
she had cool hair and a semi- rockabilly look.
anyway this is how it turned out.
i am continue with this sketch tomorrow.

now i can't believe that i haven't ever posted this work anywhere.

my mistake for keeping one of my best pieces from you.

this is another old piece and not that it has anything to do with the work, but,
i remember doing this in the garage when i lived next door to a total absolute freak
that would slip into the shadows if i heard him sneaking
around my, what was then my studio, door.
actually kinda a scary time. this is pastel and acrylic on canvas.
i can say that i'm glad i don't live next door to the lunatic any longer.
we continue, don't we.

this is an older painting. maybe 20 years old. i took it to the studio and people have been surprisingly taken with it. lots of folks like it. well, of course i like it, but i had no idea that it would have been a crowd favorite.
